Aspen Grove's 2010 Brighid's Fire!
Come and celebrate with us as we kindle the enlivening light of Brighid's Fire!!
Experience your own power as a poet, a smith, and a healer in honor of the Goddess who reawakens the Living Land to ready us for the coming Spring.
The ritual will take place on Saturday, January 30, with an orientation at 7 PM and ritual beginning promptly at 7:30 PM. Participants are asked to assemble at 6 PM for setup.
Where: The Oddfellows Hall 8698 Center Street Sandy, UT 84070
What to bring:
For ritual:
Pencil and paper.
A small bottle of an anointing oil of your choice, with attributions to fire.
Drums, noisemakers or other rhythm instruments.
For afterwards:
A nonperishable can or box of food for the Utah Aids Foundation, or gently used clothing for Our Store.
A potluck dish to share
A small donation, if desired, to cover the cost of ritual supplies.

Let's start out with our session on Ghosts.... I did contact a few ghost hunting agencies in UT... most of the are up north in the SLC area and above... It is hard to just contact them because they make themselves a bit difficult to be bothered by frivolous claims and people. At least that is my take on it.
If any member can get in contact with an agency or ghost hunter... it would be greatly appreciated. Even if we could do a speaker phone call during the meetup, That would be pretty cool.
Next, we had our first ever pod cast recorded and I posted it today..... The resolution is very low because of website limitations and that helps to keep everyone private, I think. The object of all of this it to grow our community and make other curious people feel comfortable exploring their beliefs.
