The Winter Solstice/Yule is on December 21st 2012!

Used with permission for Hecate's Haven (http://www.facebook.com/HecatesHaven)
SPELL #1: Rose's "Be Sweet Love Attraction" Spell

Here's what you'll need:

* 1 small glass jar (you also need the lid for it)
* Molasses, honey, maple syrup, or corn syrup
* 3 pens (red, green, and yellow)
* 1 small piece of square paper
* 3 candles (red, green, yellow)
* 1 strand of your hair
* 1 spoon
* Basil

STEP 1: Write your name straight across the piece of paper, horizontally...and keep writing it until you can't fit it on the paper anymore.

Eah time you write it, rotate through the different colored pens.

STEP 2: Next, turn the paper 90 degrees so that a "point" of the paper is facing you.

Write "BE SWEET" ACROSS the paper from left to right. Write it so that it crosses over your name at least 3 times...and use each color at least once.

STEP 3: Fold the paper in half, writing on the inside.

STEP 4: Fold the edges over so you make a kind of "envelope". Use tape to keep the edges folded.

STEP 5: Put the strand of your hair inside, and the basil as well.

STEP 6: File the jar with whatever type of syrup (or honey) you are using.

STEP 7: Next, as you put a large spoonful of the syrup (or honey) in front of your face...focus on it and chant:

"As I eat this sweet
May all I meet
Be ever so sweet
Whenever we greet.

As I eat this syrup divine
May your eyes turn to mine.
May all find me sweet
As this syrup is to mine."

Then eat the syrup.

STEP 8: Put the envelope into the jar and close it.

STEP 9: Light all 3 candles and place then around the jar. Let them burn for 30 minutes, minimum.

STEP 10: Keep the jar in a safe, dark place, to keep the sweetness going.

SPELL #2: Rose's 3 "Clean Coins" Of Prosperity

You'll need:

* 1 green candle
* 3 silver colored coins
* Salt

STEP 1: Setup a basic alta and decorate it with money symbols, fake (or real) paper money, etc...

STEP 2: Engrave/inscribe whatever amount of money you need on the green candle. Make sure you are reasonable here. Get too greedy, and the spell won't do anything. And make sure it's an amount of money that you actually need...not "want".

STEP 3: Hold the candle, and each of the silver coins to your heart, one at a time.

As you do this, close your eyes and visualize a green, wealth-attracting energy all around you..."see it" actually charging each item through your hands.

STEP 4: Leave them on your altar and prepare a warm bath.

STEP 5: When it's ready, drop in the 3 silver coins and a pinch of salt.

STEP 6: Put the green candle at the end of your tub.

STEP 7: Turn off the lights and light your green candle.

STEP 8: Lay back in the water and focus on the flame of the candle.

While it burns, visualize some different ways you'll receive the money...and most importantly, feel the emotions you'll have when it arrives. Really see this happening.

STEP 9: Say:

"The green Dragon flies over the sea;
bringing wealth and prosperity to me."

STEP 10: Please...do not wash/clean yourself. Just allow yourself to soak and relax.

Once the candle has burned for about 10 minutes, get out of the bath and dry off.

STEP 11: Bring the candle and coins to your altar and let the candle burn down
at LEAST half way. (Be safe!)

SPELL #3: Rose's "Magick Spell Injection" Ritual

This ritual will be done by before casting any spell...to add more energy to it, and increase your chances for success.

You'll be "writing" your spell down on paper (or better yet in a book of shadows) before casting it.

This ritual will Magickally charge the papaer and ink with energy...so make sure to keep it on your altar when casting the spell.

What you'll need:

* Paper (or even better... parchment, or a book of shadows.)

* A pen (or even batter... a quill pen.)

* Ink in the correct color for your desire. (Example: use red ink for love... or green for money/prosperity... etc...)

* A candle in the correct color for your desire. (It must be the same color as the pen.)

* The proper incense for your desire. (And when in doubt, use frankincense.)

STEP 1: Light the candle and incense.

STEP 2: Write the spell you want to cast on paper.

STEP 3: Hold the paper and move it back and forth through the smoke for a few minutes.

STEP 4: Fold the paper with the spell 3 times, and put it under the candle.

STEP 5: Let the candle burn down for 15 minutes... and as it does, visualize deeply exactly what you want to happen for the spell to "succeed".

See it happening in your mind!

STEP 6: When you sit down to do your spell (preferably shortly after completing this this ritual), open the paper on your alter...and read it directly when doing the spell. Follow the steps on the paper. This is important!

Eating Well
ArtOne of the essentials to good health is learning to provide quality nutrition for our bodies. We need to pay more attention to what we put into our bodies. My philosophy on food is if it grows, eat it; if it doesn’t grow, don’t eat it. Fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains grow. Processed foods cannot sustain life no matter how inviting the package. Life has already provided us with everything we need to feed ourselves and to remain healthy. The simpler we eat, the healthier we’ll be.
Let’s affirm: I listen to my body and lovingly respond to its needs—giving it just the right amount of food, rest, and exercise.

Crazy Sexy Kitchen: 150 Plant Empowered Recipes to Ignite a Mouthwatering Revolution
by Kris Carr

When this recipe hit The New York Times during the holiday season, letters poured in from satisfied soup-makers across the country. Bright orange veggies like pumpkin, butternut squash, and sweet potato contain high levels of beta-carotene, which is a well-known cancer- and disease-fighter. This autumnal celebration in a bowl is sure to win praise and encourage second helpings!

Recipe
Helpful Tip: Roasting Garlic

Preheat oven to 400°F. Slice off the top end of a bulb of garlic, cutting off tips of garlic cloves, but leave the bulb intact. Place garlic bulb on a piece of tin foil, large enough to wrap the entire head. Drizzle a teaspoon of olive oil over the garlic and wrap in the foil. Place garlic on a baking sheet. Bake in oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until garlic is golden brown. Once roasted, let cool, then the cloves will easily slide out of their skins.

Crazy Sexy Kitchen: 150 Plant Empowered Recipes to Ignite a Mouthwatering Revolution
by Kris Carr

photoMy Inspiration

Flavorful homemade food holds a dear place in my heart.Back in the early ’70s, my grandma was a chef and my mother was a bartender. Together they ran my grandma’s restaurant business and raised me. Grandma’s food was loaded with love, buckets of butter, and flames. You read that correctly, flames. She regularly poured 100-proof brandy over her creations and lit them on fire. The result: a dramatic presentation and the occasional curtain casualty. One could say she was Julia Child meets Where the Wild Things Are.
photoGrandma opened her first diner in a renovated trolley car, complete with flower boxes and geraniums. She sewed all the tablecloths and built the counter and booths. Yes, she was a seamstress and carpenter, too. Grandma would often say that her “brains were in her hands.” To me, she was a resourceful visionary. Truckers and townspeople alike adored her. While stirring a deep pot in her kitchen you might catch a story about King George’s coronation, which she attended, thank you very much. Or you might’ve been lucky enough to hear her gripping account of escaping from Bogotá, Colombia, on a U.S. military cargo plane to marry her second of possibly three or four husbands (we’re not sure).photo
Next came the Village Gourmet, her French-inspired bistro. That’s where my memory kicks in. On Saturday nights, music poured from the piano by the bar where I would sing and dance. Upon completing my performance I’d skitter around to the patrons with a glimmering eye and open hand. (Please note: I was not allowed to solicit. In fact, I got swatted when caught with the quarters, but I went for it anyway. The moxie started early—five to be exact.) I adored the place. I loved watching the colorful cast of customers laugh and talk and fight and love and most of all…eat!
Under $5The Village Gourmet was my first classroom. I learned early that food is more than just fuel—it’s community. And today, as I work with people to improve their lifestyles, I’m sensitive to the important role food plays in social life and family heritage. But as we’re finding out more and more, these traditions often come at a cost. I will always admire the love and art my grandma put into her cooking. At the same time, I can’t forget that, despite a long and full life, she suffered chronic health problems that really put a crimp in her effervescent style. Like many Americans, she was overweight, and she developed a list of preventable ailments including high blood pressure, cholesterol, osteoporosis, diverticulitis, and arthritis.
I was headed toward a list of health challenges as well. After I struck out on my own and life got busy, I cut my time in the kitchen short. I lived on processed, fake, and fast food. My fridge was empty while my nuker (a.k.a. microwave) got more play than my boyfriends. After a while, I began to feel as lousy as the garbage I was putting in my body. The stress (both physical and emotional) didn’t help either, and I was mainlining it.
On Valentine’s Day 2003, I hit a tipping point in the form of a cancer diagnosis, a rare and incurable stage IV sarcoma to be exact. I was 31 years old, with no medical options and a supposed expiration date—at least that’s what one oncologist told me. Another suggested I remove and transplant all three affected organs. Bye-bye liver and both lungs? Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids! No, thank you. Luckily my disease is slow-growing (at least for now; that could change). However, to say that I was in shock, mad, sad, and terrified is an understatement. But I pulled up my high-heeled bootstraps and made a plan posthaste.
photoI knew in my gut that I needed to fully participate in my well-being. That’s when I went back to my roots—food. I discovered I loved being an artist in the kitchen, just like Grandma. Except I added a revolutionary twist to her culinary foundation: cooking consciously and compassionately for the health and happiness of my body and the world around me.
Since that time I’ve not only been surviving, I’ve been thriving—with cancer. In fact, thanks in part to a healthy and active lifestyle, I actually feel better with the disease than I did without it. If I can feel healthy and happy while living with a life-threatening condition, just imagine how great you can feel! It’s been nearly ten years since I first heard those words, “you have cancer.” And though I may never be in remission, my disease continues to be stable. Considering what so many fellow cancer patients face, I am incredibly blessed. As one of my cherished cancer buddies used to say, “You don’t need to win, a tie works, too!”
When my documentary film about my journey, Crazy Sexy Cancer, aired on TLC and then on the Oprah Winfrey Network, the e-mails poured in by the thousands. My story struck a chord beyond cancer. People were ready for big change, whether they were struggling with depression, diabetes, heart disease, or fill-in-the-blank. This was the beginning of my Crazy Sexy movement, and I continue to be wildly motivated and grateful to share what I had to learn the hard way.
My previous book, Crazy Sexy Diet, is the “why” of healthy eating. It digs deep into the philosophy and science of my diet and lifestyle, with a sample recipe chapter near the end.Crazy Sexy Kitchen is the perfect sequel. What you’re holding in your hands is the “how.” These recipes will teach you how to turn your newfound knowledge, commitment, and desires into a beautiful (and healthy) reality on your plate, meal after meal.

Consecrating Your Stones

"Consecrate" is just a fancy word for "bless". To consecrate your stones, simply say a little prayer over them. Here is an example prayer:

"Mother Earth and Father Sky,

Goddess and God alike--
Bless these stones with your power,
And help them work in this hour
To cast my will in the form of energy.
Blessed be!" uk

(M) This is an excellent idea! Image from @[278458148329:274:Robin Hood Tax].

The sharing of our ways needs always to be guided by wisdom and by love. Let our rites and our mysteries always be sacred. Let no one defile our worship or our heritage, for the defilement of our ways is loss of honour, both for self and for the Craft.

Simply glue some fresh spruce or fir or even juniper foliage to the outside (not inside), of a clear class vase to create a lovely and natural candle holder. Would make a beautiful centerpiece or table decoration.

How To Make Your Own Runes

You've probably seen the pre-made Runes that one can buy at any occult store or your local book store. That is the easy way of getting your own runes. The traditional way is to get small stones/pebbles and use them with the runic symbol carved or inked onto the stone/pebble. Another is to use bits of wood and cut them into the desired shape, then ink or carve in the ru
nic symbol. However, my favorite method is to go the bluffs and gather up bags of natural clay and use this clay to form my runes and other tools. You can also use clay bought at a craft store its almost as good.

Making Clay Runes

Materials Needed:
• Clay (Red, Natural or Artificial)
• Pen/Pencil
• Knife
• Marker (Red or Black)
• Cloth or Leather

Once you've gotten the clay, take the time to mold the clay into the form you wish your runes to look, then leave then in the shade for 5 to 8 hours, I know your saying, why this? Well I can't tell you, I've no idea, this is what my grandmother did and has been done for generations.

When you return the clay should be still slightly damp but not so damp that it falls apart or is mushy, it should be almost hard at the outer edges, with the center still a bit pliable. The center is where you will be carving the runic symbol.

Now take a clay tablet that you've molded, and using either a pen, pencil or a knife carve into the Talbot the specific rune that it is to be, remember to think of what this rune will represent and infuse it with that form of energy. e.g.: When carving the runic symbol for protection, envision it being strong, and guarding you against harm, and so on and so forth.

Once each tablet has been carved with its symbol, leave it to dry either in the direct sun or near the stove or other hot surface, until hard. This process depending on the clay used can take up to two weeks to harden properly.

Once your Runes are hardened, take a marker and ink in the symbol if you so choose, this is optional, many people like the natural look, but when reading the runes often inking them in is advisable. My Grandmother actually use to make natural dyes from flowers, berries, bark, herbs and other natural dying agents. She would dye each rune a different color according to its usage; like green for health, purple for power, yellow for light and inner strength, and various other colors. I only suggest the Black or Red marker as a simple way of marking you runes to read. You can of course use different colored markers to mark each rune, according to its color orientation or purpose, the choice is up to you.

The last step is to construct a pouch to which you will keep these runes, use either leather or cloth to construct this pouch. Remember Natural un-dyed leather or cloth is best, if using synthetic materials then use your own judgment. If in doubt, get a scarf/bandana and use that as the carrying bag for your runes.

That's all there is to it basically.

Blessed Saturn’s Day Family
Magick is in the air…It binds us with its grace and gives us the moments of the day. Magick fills me and brings me alive. Magickal Day to all --- Blessed Be

“Because of love I have become the giver of light” – Rumi

Color of the Day: Black
Black is not a color, strictly speaking. It is the absence of all color. Black symbolizes death in some cultures. Native Americans thought black was good because it was the color of soil, which gives life.
Black, and its opposite white, represents polarities. Black absorbs all aspects of light. While white reveals, black conceals. It has come to mean hidden, fearful or bad experience. It is linked to the unknown or the unseen.
In times of fear and uncertainty black contains the energy of the threatening unknown. In a positive state, black is seen as a restful emptiness into which anything may emerge and disappear once again. It is also mysterious, providing a sense of potential and possibility.
Black gemstones symbolize self control and resilience. Black stones have protective energies in the sense that black is the absence of light, and therefore, can be used to create invisibility.

Incense of the Day: Frankincense

Day of double meaning, good and bad at the same time. Day when we have to make a choice between good and evil. Today it is important to think many times before making an important decision. Actions that are not well thought of should be avoided, and are dangerous

Clawing down the Moon.

Witch of the Old World Herb
Maidenhair

Maidenhair is considered a female Fern, which has a wider leaf then the Male Fern. I always enjoy harvesting and collecting ferns. Maidenhair Ferns grow freely and there easy to find in any forest and in heavily shaded areas. With the amounts of Ferns in forest no one cares if you pull some up to replant or use. Plus walking in the forest and woods is an uplifting experience for everyone. You can’t help but enjoy with all the sights and sounds of nature all around you and you may find it to be something you look very much forward too. It’s a wonderful way to renew your spirit and see the beauty of Mother Earth.

Folk Names; Venus’s Hair and Maidenhair’s Hair.

Magickal Powers; Love, Beauty and Rain.

Growing and caring for Maidenhair Ferns will bring both love and beauty the person of whom tends it.

Washing your face or body with water you have let stand over night with the Maidenhair leaflets or frond in will restore to your skin a more youthful look and feel.

Maidenhair Ferns as with all Ferns are good in magick calling rain. I find the Maidenhair will also add to the powers when worked under the Moon.

Medical Uses; Soar Throats, Asthma, Congestion, and Hangovers.

A tea made using frond of Maidenhair Ferns will soothe sore throats and ease asthma.

Tonics from the Maidenhair Ferns fronds will make a good decongestant that will work to diminish soar throats, asthma and help the body rid the phylum from chest congestion.

For centuries cough syrups made using infusions of honey and Maidenhair Ferns were used and still considered an excellent and natural cough remedy.

Infusions of water and Maidenhair Ferns seem to have a natural detoxifying effect on hangovers and possible treatment on alcoholism. This same infusion will spell worms and reduce fevers.

The Native Americans used a paste made for Maidenhair fronds to relieve bee stings and other insect bites.

Other; Maidenhair Ferns infused by water are used for a healing hair wash for damaged hair.

Don’t lose your sense of humour, even when the laughter is at your own expense. Life is a learning place. Existence is forever - Lenoard Peltier

‎'According to Rivera and an OUR Walmart organizer who accompanied him to the store, Rivera was leaning over to drink from a water fountain when a police officer grabbed his arm without warning, put him in handcuffs and led him to an office. Rivera said that the officer told him that Walmart management had informed the police that Rivera had previously signed a written trespassing warning obligating him not to return to the premises. Walmart “lied to the police officer.…” said Rivera. “That’s why they handcuffed me.”
Rivera added that when the store’s “asset protection” manager suggested additional details for the officer to add to the police report, “The police officer told him three times. He said no, I’m not going to add that stuff.” Rivera said that after discovering that the police department had no trespassing warning on file for him, the officer asked the store’s co-manager to produce a copy of it. At that point, according to Rivera, the co-manager backtracked, and the police officer “started making faces” at the manager, and quickly released Rivera’s handcuffs. Rivera and the OUR Walmart organizer said that the officer issued them a trespassing warning against returning to the store, but told them that he never would have handcuffed Rivera if he hadn’t been told incorrectly that he had already violated such a signed warning.'

I am of Magick.
I am of Her.
Her guidance, Her Light, Her Strength, Her love are there for me.
Today if there is a fog, today if a mist may cover my eyes I will remember I am not ALONE.
I know She is beside me….

Dear Lady Goddess…Queen of the Night
I will go into the dark of the light with You
I will call Your Name from the highest mountain.
You are my Strength,
You are my Guide
You are my Moon
You are my Night
You are My Light
I am because of You.
You woke me with Your call
You gave me Purpose. I will not falter.
I am Strong. I am Love. I am Light. I am Dark.
I am Magick
I AM because of You…Dear Lady Goddess
Blessed Be

Daily Devotions of the Goddess: My Lady Hekate

My Lady Hekate, Queen of the Night
Thought the Darkness shines your Light.
She whom at the Crossroads Looms,
Thy Mother of the Dark Moon.

Goddess of all Witches, Truth and Power,
Your Magickal embrace upon me shower.
Hekate, She who brave men fear,
I beckon the come unto me here.

As the Black Dogs whelps into the sky,
And Ravens between each world fly.
I know your with me, thy voice hear,
Sweet words upon the wind, guide me, I have no fear.

Hekate Goddess of death and life,
You how the choice within your Knife.
My Lady Hekate, Queen of the Night,
Within the Darkness shines your Light.

Blessed Be..

~ Setting Up Your Yule Altar ~

Yule is the time of year when Pagans and Wiccans celebrate the Winter Solstice. If you're in the Northern Hemisphere, this will be on around December 21, but if you're below the Equator, your Yule celebration will fall in June. This Sabbat is considered the longest night of the year, and following Yule, the sun begins its long journey back to earth. Try some or even all of these ideas -- obviously, space may be a limiting factor for some, but use what calls to you most.

Winter is here, and even if the snow hasn't fallen yet, there's a definite chill in the air. Use cold colors to decorate your altar, such as blues and silvers and whites. Also find ways to include the reds, whites and greens of the season. Evergreen boughs never go out of style, so add some dark greens as well. Cover your altar with a cloth in a cool color, and then add candles in a variety of different wintery shades. Use candles in silvers and g
olds -- and sparkle is always good too!

* Symbols of Winter:

Yule is a Sabbat that reflects the return of the sun, so add solar symbols to your altar. Gold discs, yellow candles, anything bright and shiny can represent the sun. Some people even get a large pillar candle, inscribe it with solar symbols, and designate it as their sun candle. You can also add evergreen boughs, sprigs of holly, pinecones, a Yule log, and even Santa Claus. Consider antlers or reindeer, along with other symbols of fertility.

* Other Signs of the Season:

There's no limit to the number of things you can put on your Yule altar, as long as you've got the space. Consider some of these items as part of your Sabbat decor:

• Fruit and nuts
• Mistletoe
• Snowflakes, icicles, even a bowl of snow
• Candy canes
• Bells
• Sun Wheels

I am free of the past. What you need to know about the past is that, no matter what has happened, it has all worked together to bring you to this very moment. And this is the moment you can choose to make everything new. Right now.

Women, you are the true strength of this world. It's time to shine, time to speak, time to rise.

The LEPRECHAUNE ia a male, solitary fairy, a guardian of hidden treasure, of Irish literary and oral tradition whose original identity is now hopelessly obscured by two centuries of commercial and sometimes artistic transmogrification far from the roots of Gaelic culture. Contrary to popular perception, the leprechaun is by no means representative of the entire realm of the Irish fairy nor is he its most striking instance within Irish tradition.

Contrary to popular perception, the leprechaun is by no means representative of the entire realm of the Irish fairy nor is he its most striking instance within Irish tradition. Obscured also are the now archaic regional variations, mostly pre-dating the mid-19th century. The leprechaun's dominance as perceived from outside Irish tradition derives from the great popular reception of the works of T. Crofton Croker, especially Fairy Legends and Traditions of the South of Ireland (1825), and prestigious literary adaptations, notably William Allingham's poem ‘Lepracaun’ (c.1870), Lady Wilde's Ancient Legends… of Ireland (1887), James Stephens' Crock of Gold (1912), and the American musical partially based on Stephens, Finian's Rainbow (1947).

The earliest anticipation of the leprechaun comes in the depiction of the water sprites, luchoirp or luchorpán, depicted in the 8th century text Echtra Fergusa maic Léti [The Adventure of Fergus son of Léte]. In the narrative Fergus is sleeping in his chariot by the seaside when the sprites lift him up, separated from his sword, and carry him over the water. When he seizes hold of three of them, they promise to share their skills in swimming as a condition of their release. This portrayal, coupled with earlier glossaries stressing north Leinster spellings, suggests that initially the leprechaun was an aquatic or at least amphibious creature. But several comparable terms from different parts of Ireland suggest other associations. From elsewhere in Leinster: loimreachán, lúracán. From Connacht: lúracán. From Munster: luchragán, lurgadán. From Ulster: luchramán. Perhaps contributing to these conceptions are the monstrous lupracánaig of the pseudo-history Lebor Gabála [Book of Invasions], begotten by the biblical Ham as a result of the curse put upon him by his father Noah. The name also occurs as leprecaun, lepracaun, leipreachán, luchorpán, leipreachán, luprachán; parallel regional and archaic forms: lochramán, loimreachán, loragádán, lubrican, luchragán, luchramán, luprecan, lúracán, lurgadán, and lurikeen.

10 Steps to Positive Body Image

I believe in my words, my actions, myself.

A few good points to remember:

November 16th
This is called Hecate’s Night.

This is the night that she roams the earth with Her Hounds. This is also the night the new initiations are made for Witches following her.
Hecate’s Supper is left out on the steps of her followers’ dwellings, usually consisting of honey and mushrooms. Hecate then blesses those inside.

"Charge of the Dark Goddess ~

Listen to the words of the Dark Mother, who of old was called Hecate, Nuit, Morrigan, , Macha, MotherNight, , and many other names:
Whenever you seek wisdom, at the time of the Darkening Moon, come together in love and trust and learn of Me, who am the Wisest of Crones...
Ye who search the mysteries of the Earth, the secrets of Air and Darkness, of Blood and Fire, the silence of the uttermost stars, come unto me, and I shall whisper to you in the depths of midnight.
Ye shall approach Me in silence, and as a sign that ye are free from fear, your breast you shall bare to My blade...for fear has no place in My mysteries, and that which you seek of me will destroy you if you fear it. .
I am the silence before birth and after death. I am the clouded mirror in which you scry your own soul. I am mist in the twilight, the vast and starry sky of midnight, shadows on the Moon. All things come to Me in the end, and yet I am the beginning of all. I meet you at the crossroads, I lead you through the darkness, My hand you grasp in the passage between the worlds.
To those that toy with Me am I an instrument of self-destruction. yet to the true seeker do I bring knowledge beyond mortal comprehension. Of you shall I demand the utter truth of all that you are, and in return shall I give you all that you may be, all that I am.
For My wisdom is beyond the Ages, and knowledge of My Secrets is power over self, over fear,er death. Nor do I demand aught of you which you cannot give.
For I am the Mother of Mysteries, and as you know Me, so shall you learn to know yourself."

She is waiting
I hear Her Call
Come dear
Come to Me
Can you hear that?
Can you feel it?
The night She calls
Singing out to me
The crackle of the leaves
The crows mock at me
Hear Me now She Cries
Come Dance with Me
Under the Starry Sky
Feel Me now….
Come She Says
She is Calling me…
Lady of The Night
Goddess of My Soul
Phantom Queen…Beckons me

Two of Swords

Two mighty swordsmen of equal skill have reached a stalemate. They take this moment
to rest before resuming their battle.

Upright meanings: Stalemate. Balanced powers. An immovable obstacle. Rest before action.

Reversed meanings: Falsehoods. Lies. Treachery.

I am who I am

Every time a child dies, an angel of God comes down to earth. He takes the child in his arms, spreads out his great white wings, and flies with it all over the places the child loved on earth. The angel plucks a large handful of flowers, and they carry it with them up to God, where the flowers bloom more brightly than they ever did on earth.

A Charm to Secure Employment

Take a green handkerchief or a piece of green cloth roughly same size,
Next lay it flat with one of the corners facing you.
Place
upon it 3 cardamom seeds
1 Bay leaf
1 Cinnamon stick

These herbs surround you in self-confidence and attract energy.
Cardamom sweetens your personality and brings out your natural eloquence.
Bay leaves are symbols of success and triumph.
Cinnamon will draw the magic quick.

Tie the corners together with a length of green ribbon, so that you have a little bundle of herbs.

Before each interview, hold this bundle and visualize yourself walking into the interview room,
radiating confidence imagine yourself being in a position to pick and chose jobs at will.
Carry this to your job interviews.
And accept that any rejection is a sign from the universe that the job was not right for you.

Thanks to Craigs Coven Chat for this one - I will retype the words below - Genni )O(

Yes I'm a witch is that so wrong, You clearly think I don't belong
You judge my life, you judge my acts, yet you don't bother with the facts
The lies you tell are way off base, but you say nothing to my face
You know nothing of my beliefs, my lifestyle or all my griefs
I think you need to learn about the way I life, forget your doubts
I try to help, I do my best, I'm not the Wicked Witch of the West
You're a fool with a closed mind, time to leave ignorance behind
Talk to me and soon you'll learn that I do not deserve to burn
