Anti-Angiogenic Compounds Used In Drugs To Treat Cancer Are Found Naturally In Over 30 Foods
Angiogenesis is the process of building new blood vessels and is inherently coordinated with building new tissue, but increased angiogenesis can also have a deadly side effect - a distinguishing characteristic of cancer growth. Some cancer treatments for halting the growth of cancer-feeding blood vessels have been successful in treating tumors. This term is known as anti-angiogenesis. Although several drugs have been incorporated with isolated anti-angiogenic compounds, there are more than 30 dietary sources of naturally-occurring anti-angiogenic substances.

Sad but true.... Beautiful ..........
SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"
DAD: "Yeah sure, what is it?"
SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?"
SON: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "If you must know, I make $100 an hour."
SON: "Oh! (With his head down).
SON: "Daddy, may I please borrow $50?"
The father was furious.
DAD: "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior."

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $ 50 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

DAD: "Are you asleep, son?"

SON: "No daddy, I'm awake".
DAD: "I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier. It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $50 you asked for."

The little boy sat straight up, smiling.
SON: "Oh, thank you daddy!"
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

DAD: "Why do you want more money if you already have some?"

SON: "Because I didn't have enough, but now I do.

"Daddy, I have $100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you."
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $100 worth of your time with someone you love? If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family and friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family.

Some things are more important.

Daily Devotions of the Goddess

The sky has now darkened
As you call upon the night.
The candle flame shall lead you,
A pure and glowing signal light.
Be not frightened of the sounds,
You hear hidden from your sight.
For you are of thy mystical world,

Herb Magick~

From: Witch of the Old World Book Herbs
by: Lady Abigail

Fussy Weed;
Fussy Weed is a wonderful herb for magick, healing and even cooking. You most likely have it in your kitchen right now, under the alias name of Tarragon. Fussy Weed has a remarkable flavor and is nice added to any food. It is also one of the easiest plants I
have grown with this brown thumb of mine.

Folk Names; Tarragon and Estragon.

Magickal Powers;
Hunting and Love.

Fussy Weed was used by Native Americans to bring love and it is used to this day by witches in love magick and potions.
I know Fussy Weed is used before a hunt to assure a kill. I just don’t like hunting things and don’t think there should be any advantages against animals.

Medical Uses;
Insomnia, Increase Appetite and Reduce Mouth and Menstrual Pain.
A gentle and surprisingly nice tea can be made with Fussy Weed.

Restful Sleep Tea;
You’ll Need;
1/4 teaspoon of Fussy Weed
1/4 teaspoon Anise Seeds
1/4 teaspoon Rosemary

Mix all the herbs together in your mortar and pestle grind them just a bit to open the seeds. Put the herbs in a cup and add 1 cup of boiling water, cover and allow to steep for 3 minutes.
Strain the liquid from the herbs and add honey to sweeten the taste and relax and enjoy. Teas can also be made using Fussy Weed and Mint to ease the mid-month pains from the menstrual cycle. High in Vitamins A, C, and minerals Fussy Weed is used to stimulate the appetite and sooth the digestive system.
Fussy Weed has the effect of numbing the gums and tough when chewed. The root is used to lesson the pain from toothaches.

Other;

The leaves of Fussy Weed/Tarragon contain iodine and if you have allergies to iodine or shellfish you should use some caution with this herb.
